The Women's Mental Health Program at The University of Arizona College of Medicine is dedicated to public education. This 6th annual symposium has been organized to meet the educational needs of all who are interested in these compelling mental health topics, specific to women. The target audience is nurses, midwives, physicians, psychologists, interested community, and all specialties of health care providers. Students can attend at a reduced registration rate. This program is accredited for CME, nursing and psychology continuing education credits.

Our annual Women’s Mental Health Award will be presented to a person who has displayed pioneering efforts and has had a positive impact in women’s Mental Health. Nominees can be an advocate, clinician, public official, or community member – anyone whom you think meets the general criteria. Take this opportunity to recognize a Hero and nominate someone. Please limit to 1,000 words and include the following information:

  • Nominee’s name, phone, email, and if applicable, degree(s)/credentials
  • Reason for nomination
  • Your name and contact information, and relationship to nominee. This information can stay confidential, if you wish.
