This 16th annual educational course has been organized to meet the needs of practitioners who treat psychiatric disorders. It is open to physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, counselors and other health care providers. Some of this years topics will include: antidepressants and antipsychotics in the clinical setting, medical-legal issues, updates on anxiety, sleep disorders, CBASP and combination treatment for chronic depression, clinical and research aspects of Alzheimer's disease and genetic effects of neurobiology and pharmacology of mental illness. This program is accredited for CME, nursing and psychology continuing education credits.
