| Dr. Reiman attended medical school at Duke University and did his residency at Duke and Washington University. Dr. Reiman was an A.B. Duke Scholar at Duke University and later conducted several landmark studies in the application of Positron Emission Tomography to the study of psychiatric disorders at Washington University. Recognized internationally as a leader in the neuroscientific applications of PET, Dr. Reiman is the scientific director of the Samaritan PET Center in Phoenix, deputy editor of the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, and a member of the NIMH Clinical Neuroscience Review Committee. He has published recently on the early detection of Alzheimer's Disease using PET techniques. His clinical interests include adult psychiatry, anxiety disorders, and Alzheimer's disease. His research interests include brain imaging, genomics, and Alzheimer's disease. |
