Thomas M. Reichenbacher, M.D. - Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Pediatrics, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry 

Tom Reichenbacher, M.D. is a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist.  He is Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry. Dr Reichenbacher completed his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Arizona. He then did his psychiatry training at Ohio State University Hospital and his child psychiatry fellowship at Boston University Medical Center. He then began in private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he was the medical director of a children’s psychiatric inpatient unit and consulted at several residential treatment centers. For three years prior to returning to Tucson, he worked as a consultant child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist in a teaching hospital in Hamilton, New Zealand.

Dr Reichenbacher, therefore, has had experience working in a variety of clinical and teaching positions with children and families with behavioral and emotional disorders. His special interest is in working with school-aged children with disruptive, mood, anxiety, and neuro-developmental disorders using psychotherapy, family therapy and psychopharmacology.
