Irene Kitzman, MD

Irene Kitzman, M.D.
Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry 

Dr. Kitzman is the Director of the new Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic on the Kino Campus, where she will provide clinical leadership and supervision of third-year residents. She also holds the faculty rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry for the College of Medicine. Dr. Kitzman has a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University, and received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship and residency training in Psychiatry at Yale University. She has been a Board Certified psychiatrist since 1985, and was in private practice in Fairfield County, Connecticut for 25 years before joining UPH and the UA.
