  Mind-Body Skills Group
 

This is an educational group of 12 weeks duration which will begin meeting in early 2005. It is a mixed-gender and mixed-age group of 8-12 people, open to adults of any diagnosis or health status.
 
The group will teach participants, through an experiential format, a variety of mind-body techniques that have been shown to be helpful in promoting health and wellness. These include:

  • Meditation
  • Guided Imagery
  • Autogenic Training (Self-Hypnosis) 
  • Biofeedback 
  • Breath Work 
  • Movement 
  • Journal Writing 
  • Drawing 
  • Self-awareness
