Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss different types of bias and stigma, particularly pertaining to people who use drugs (PWUD) and those with substance use disorders (SUDs).
  2. Explore the manifestation of bias in the healthcare system through a series of cases.
  3. Review the Behavior Contract proposed changes, timeline, and accepted revisions.

The educational objective of Psychiatry Grand Rounds is to provide mental health professionals with updates on psychiatric topics with the goals of increasing knowledge, competence, and patient care.  Psychiatry Grand Rounds are held on Wednesdays (September-May) from 12 to 1 p.m. Be sure to log into your CME account and complete the evaluation to receive credit.
